The newer build weighs a whopping 2.1GB of download size, you can also sideload it manually, thanks to the recovery method. Although, as of now, Xiaomi has not confirmed the rollout of MIUI 12 for Redmi Note 8. This patch of MIUI 12 is based on Android 10.
